Meet Our CEO

Richard Cuff is president of CTI Marketing, founder of NASEMBA Business Alliance, and C.E.O. of ConcinTel, LLC. He is a graduate of Jacksonville University’s Davis School of Business. He was born in Edison, GA and raised in the Liberty City community of Miami, FL. He graduated from Miami Northwestern Sr. High, and Bauder College where he studied broadcasting. Richard served in the United States Army as an Indirect Fire Infantryman and was promoted to the rank of E-5/Sergeant before being honorably discharged.

After serving four years in the Army – including tours in Germany and South Korea – he returned to his inner-city neighborhood which was devastated by the Miami race riots of May 1980.This was the inspiration for him to start CTI Marketing, a company that provides consulting services and personal coaching to small business owners facing the challenge of overcoming adversity while managing their entrepreneurial vision.

As a social entrepreneur and community advocate, Richard is a recipient of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2014 Diversity Award.  He serves as Executive Director of League of Florida Orchestras, Inc., a capacity building organization through which he developed the Guiding Success Program – a kindergarten to college pathway initiative for preschool students developed to encourage literacy through entrepreneurship and the arts.  Through Guiding Success, he teaches children to play violin and piano while in kindergarten with the goal of developing the parent as the child’s first teacher and best mentor.

Richard is also Marketing Director for C-Intel Marketing, a company that unites investors, entrepreneurs, community financial institutions and other community partners into one funding platform known as ConcinTel Mobile Cultural Capital Marketplace®.  This platform ensures growth capital is made available to propel innovation, create jobs and provide investment opportunities for everyone.  He is founder of the NASEMBA Business Alliance – an organization that provides support and encouragement to small and emerging market businesses.  He discovered his gift of entrepreneurship as a seven-year old, while in the second grade – painting Hot Wheel cars for a quarter using his mother’s fingernail polish – and over the next forty plus years he would spend his life pursuing his entrepreneurial vision and sharpening his managerial skills.  A standup comedian, personal development coach, author, and inspiring public speaker, this husband and father of two possesses a level of spiritual maturity that, through his Get Ready for Greatness seminars, allows his audiences to experience firsthand why laughter is truly like a medicine.
